Pozole and Cows....Only in Mexico

On Saturday, 12 of us left the house by noon for the hour bus ride to Cinthia's mom's house for pozole. (the ride was a lot better with my Starbuck's caramel frappuccino....God blessed us with a new Starbucks two blocks from the house....!!!!) Pozole is a Mexican soup typically made from the broth of a pork leg. At first, I have to admit, that sounded a little gross....but it was wonderful!! Her mom had made a gynormous pot of this wonderful soup. We all piled into her dorm size house, which smelled amazingly of pozole, and ate and laughed for four hours. The soup was fabulous....we topped it with lettuce, onions, fresh squeezed lime and extra picante salsa. We had a great time and even got to see some cows on the way back to the bus! Viva!
