Hanging out with Odie and Jolleen

Here are the latest pics from my adventures with Odie and Jolleen. We hopped busses around the city and drove with Techno Carlos in a taxi to Tlaquepaque. They found lots of cool stuff to buy...if you're on their Christmas list you should be excited! :) It will be weird getting back into the swing of things here without them. Who's coming next????

Viaje a Manzanillo

We ventured to Manzanillo (near Puerto Viarta) this weekend...spur of the moment....literally. We found out at 4:30 Friday afternoon that the house we wanted was available and that the agency was willing to give it to us for two nights at an extremely discounted rate. We threw our things into our bags and ran for the bus.

Charla, Tara, Becca and I couldn't believe the enormity of the house, nor the location....ON the beach. We had a great two days of swimming, sunning, reading and grilling out. We returned Sunday night (on the non-air conditioned bus....even though we paid for the more comfortable air conditioned one...VIVA!) tired and, some of us, sun-burned. I have a lovely criss-cross pattern on my stomach from the raft in the pool. Guess I will have to refrain from wearing all of my shirts that expose my stomach. :)

Now, we're back at school, enduring mid-semester exams. Can't wait 'til Thursday when Odie and Jolleen get here!!!!
